The mission of the Colony Middle School Music Booster Club is to promote parent interaction with the music program and to support it enthusiastically for the growth and benefit of our students.
Purpose of CMS Music Boosters is to: 1. Help with supporting music at CMS (morally, financially and socially). 2. Provide parents an organized way of giving input into the activities, events and funding for the music department. 3. Provides a link of communication between parents, students and Mr.Lambert for improving the CMS Music Department. 4. Create and promote music activities for and to the public. 5. Provide a communication link between CMS Music Department, CMS School and other organizations in the public (school board, borough assembly, PTA, etc...).

NOTE: We are always looking for help on committees and activities.
Goals: Continue to raise funds for new instruments, music and equipment, promote arts in the Valley, raise funds for music camp scholarships, work to connect ourselves to the school.

Jachimiec call meeting to order. 7:03 PM b. $ 245.52 ice cream (estimate $5295.60 pending adding ice cream). 2. Old Business a. Notes for Aug. 19 Open house meeting i. Ice cream-propose using a QR code turns the credit to Venmo to deposit. There is no % payment. Credit card is connect to Venmo (like using square). As receiving there is no cost, as a spender there is a cost payment. Need a non-profit number. Claire Murray is willing to look into this. 3. New Business a. Halloween Social-Oct. 25-For Honor Director i. Volunteer Julie Nolen, Johanna Marvin (concession) b. Election Bake Sale-Nov. 5-Pioneer Peak is the site. Marvin, Murray, Berry, Murray grandma, Nolen, Treece maybe able to volunteer. $1-2 value, Donation. c. Music trip-Denali: looking for about $500-$700 help with costs. Valerie Berry-$700.00 music trip, seconding-Jessica Jachimiec. Vote: all voted yes. Vote Pending 2 board members. d. Silent Auction event: Nov. 25-we seem to be willing to get it organized. I send out a donation letter to parents. Try to get items brought between Nov. 6-15. Open Bidding on Nov. 18. e. Other? Nov. trip. Mrs. Marvin may help with buying food. 4. Jachimiec moves to close, Nolen second. 8:05PM The CMS Scholarship Program is on. We have money set aside for this year to award to students who would like to attend a summer music camp.
